How to Change the Font Pack in Squarespace
Fonts are one of the most powerful ways to communicate your brand’s personality. Whether you're aiming for elegant, bold, playful, or minimal, choosing the right font pack in Squarespace can instantly transform your site's look and feel.
Here’s how to change and customize your fonts in just a few steps:
1. Open the Site Styles Panel
Start by going to any page on your site.
Then:
Click Edit in the top left.
Click the paintbrush icon in the top-right corner to open the Site Styles panel.
2. Click on “Fonts”
In the Site Styles menu:
Click on Fonts.
This opens the font settings where you can change your site’s typography for headings, paragraphs, and more.
3. Choose a New Font Pack
Squarespace offers curated Font Packs—these are pre-selected font combinations that work well together. To change the pack:
At the top of the Fonts panel, click “Switch Pack” (if visible).
Choose a new style (e.g., Classic Serif, Modern Sans, or Editorial Mix).
Your headings and body text will automatically update to the new pack.
4. Customize Each Font (Optional)
Want more control?
Under Global Text Styles, you can:
Change the font for Headings, Paragraphs, Buttons, and more individually
Adjust font weight, letter spacing, line height, and text transform
This is perfect if you want to mix and match styles (e.g., bold headlines with clean sans-serif body text).
5. Save and Preview
Once you're happy with your font selections:
Click Save in the top-left.
Preview your site to make sure the fonts are legible and visually balanced across desktop and mobile.
