How to Create a Dropdown Menu in Squarespace

Want to tidy up your navigation bar and group related pages together? A dropdown menu (previously called a “folder” in Squarespace) is the way to go. Here’s how to set one up in just a few steps:

1. Head to the Pages Panel

First, log in to your Squarespace dashboard.
Then, click on Pages to open up your site’s structure.

2. Add a Dropdown Menu

In the Main Navigation section, click the + button.
Choose Dropdown from the menu that appears.
Give it a name—something like Company, Services, or anything that fits your content.

3. Organize Your Pages

Now comes the fun part: drag and drop the pages you want into your new dropdown.
